No, these colors will stay. They may become more intense/saturated in the days ahead. Last generation was almost all green, the one before that all odd colors. This generation are looking totally different. Some were very dark at early instars. Almost black. But now there are dark rusty brown ones and various green ones. A real mix. Will be interesting to see how the adults all turn out.

I've gottta say, this is one of the things I enjoy so much about Oxys. This must be my 8th inbred generation and they just keep changing things up. Keeps me guessing. And just a very hardy and simple species to keep. Plus pretty communal!

Ain't she a beaut, Henry ! Seems to have an ancient Egyptian stare.
She is a cutey. That's for sure.

 
I had a male I was sent last year with this sort of head color but never a female,we're hoping out of what I have left someone will decide to be unique,looks really nice,so far I think all of mine are just green beans though,is this just luck really? lol
