250+ and still counting - my first ooth

My much awaited first ooth just hatched. At my last count I have 250

-300 and still going strong. I think they are Chinese. This is amazing to watch. It has been well worth the wait! I do realize that most will die off but it is a site to see. http://www.flickr.com/photos/mobilmom/ Thank you to all of you who with posts helped this go smoothly.

congrats! im hopin to get my first ooth and had a tradgedy today....not enough food for the for young uns and lost a lil un to cannibalism...i felt terrible so i released them but im not givin up! again CONGRATS!!!

Nice work It is always so good to see the ootheca hatching, but I always find it quite a rareity to actually witness it.

You should post up some of the photos in the photo section of the forum.

Yeah, they hatch faster than you would expect.
