A few animal pics from my Amazon adventure

It was a male, and it is Stagmatoptera binotata to be exact ;) This is the ONLY mantis on my trip I could confirm the sp. besides the Lichen Mantids I saw. The rest are a mystery to me.....

That Binotata was very common, we had 2 males living in our hutt alone. Another made a living off a banana bunch that was hung in the common area.

 
wish you could of found ooths of any of those but prob would have hard time getting it back to the states to hatch!

Rick, they were very common! I was expecting to see some, but not quite as many as I did.

 
I sure did, thanks man! I don't have many other animal photos, but have some wonderful vistas if anyone is interested......
