A Skipped Shedding???

One of my female Deroplatys lobata seems to have skipped over her pre subadult shed, and went straight to a subadult. I have heard this scenario recorded only once before on ukmf about a female Cheradodis rhombicollis doing the same thing. Any ideas?

could it be that the instar wasn't documented correctly when you bought it? also, sometime a pre sub looks like a sub but it is not. got a pic?

That kind of happened to me. I had pre-sub adult that got injured. She broke her leg off from getting stuck in the mesh. It took almost 2 months, but when she finally molted she was an extra small adult with wings! She is still alive but has only five and a half legs!
