Unfortunately Bugsey's wings didn't come out right, leaving him unable to fly. He hasn't even tried since he's molted. It was last Friday that he molted while my mom was watching him, I was out of town. But he's still my baby Bugsey. And I love him more then anything, this is him enjoying a Meal worm. As I have to get more roaches, he's such a beautiful Mantis I am so lucky.

Did you trim his exterior wings? If the wings are too deformed is it a good idea to trim off the mal-formed portions? .... S

Ive never heard that suggested before. I did it once to help one of my girls get bred. The wings were so wonky the male couldnt position right. I dont know if it hurts them or not, like clipping the wings on a bird.

@Serle    There's no way i am doing that. My hands tremor he seems just fine with how they are. He's only fluttered them once since i got home and he molted on friday. I get some people do it but i get nervous as it is when my hands shake and i hold him. So I am not gonna chance it.
