Advice needed for my cultures

[Granny's Mantis Mayhem]

I got my cultures all made and set up, I let them sit overnight and I haven't as of yet added the wood wool or filters. Today I have noticed that are a bit more loose/runny then I would like.  

My Question is, is it ok for me to add a thickener such as cornmeal or should I leave them runny? How long should I want to add the Fruit Flys?

Cornmeal should be ok. You can add the flies as soon as you feel that the medium is a good consistency and after you put the wood wool in.
