not sure where to put this. This is definitely not the best video lol...but my african mantis is constantly doing this back and forth action except when disturbed otherwise, just going back and forth in a jerky fashion...then slips and rolls around on the floor for a while until it regains its balance and resumes previous action. Surprisingly the only thing it's affected is his wings :huh: Any of yours do this?

My S. Lineola's also do this, never seen the males do it

Omg... :lol: he looks like he's exercising! I've never seen a mantis do that before... very interesting!

:lol: The africans are famouse for this behavior, they do it when scared, it always makes me nuts when I see it, I laugh and then feel bad, cause I know they are scared. Not many people have seen it, u r special!

ok just watched the video, she is scared, u need some flowers or something in with her, she dont even have a stick to hide behind.

There actually were some flowers in there with him but I had to remove them because that's how his wings became messed up. He constantly is rolling around on the ground :huh:
