Sorry to hear about the desiccation of your Porcellio colony - desiccation problems are hitting many people this year (myself included). Photos of me are floating around my Facebook page and here on the forum in the topic for others can see us.
Thanks, pretty bummed since after I found out that the P.leavis had died off I checked on my few A.maculatum and P.scaber and they had died off as well. Fortunately, I know a guy and should be able to acquire more rather easily. Well that makes it even worse, hopefully your guy can get you back up and running soon though. One of my original isopod colonies I had for the last few years suffered some desiccation awhile back, but thankfully weren't all wiped out (about 90% were); otherwise, I think I'd be so upset from losing the generations I won't bother restarting at least for awhile.Thanks, I agree!

Cool, I had seen that thread a while back, but couldn't find it recently. It's pretty odd how people are active on the forums and then they just disappear. Although lots of pages, many are members no longer on the forum or just bad links. A great look at some keepers on the forum though.
Indeed, so I pinned the topic so it isn't lost, and I'm not sure why it wasn't already. Yeah people get new hobbies, loose interest, or simply get so backed-up on topics they quit showing up. Heck, I've done it myself before, as life gets in the way sooner or later.
