[Hypoponera]

This is the female of my pair of AGBs. She is about 9 inches long. The male is about the same length, but a little thicker. The first photo was taken through the glass of the tank.

Thanks! I am just starting to try taking pictures. I've never been much of a shutterbug. My dad was. He passed away at the end of Jan and left me his closet full of camera gear. These photos were taken with a Nikon D80 and its basic lense. I did not even try to use the zoom capability. That will be tomorrows project!

I still fondly remember buying them at Petco for $14.95 each. I have been told that A. gigas is currently no longer being imported into Europe as well. I have a male and female, but don't have high hopes of breeding them successfully.
