Introduced species. Supposed to have come in on plants. Eats earthworms.Never seen one of those before. Reminds me of a hammerhead shark, but a worm. What's it's deal?
i spent a month learning about them, and i have a final exam on biology tomorrow! why am i on here, off to studying.Very interesting. I just spent over an hour learning about flatworms and planaria worms... Thanks for posting.
Egads... well good luck on your exam, Emile! I'm going to play like a planaria worm and slide out of here myself....i spent a month learning about them, and i have a final exam on biology tomorrow! why am i on here, off to studying.
If you found those fun, Katt, wait until you get to the Ascaria (round worms)! One of those, Ascaria suum, makes it's own morphine! Yum!Very interesting. I just spent over an hour learning about flatworms and planaria worms... Thanks for posting.
When I read that they eat earthworms I killed it. But then I read it also eats slugs so I regret kiling it now. There were two of them and the other one escaped when I went in to get the camera.Wow cool rick what are you going to do with that one, are you going to feed them?
I explained the reason above.how come you killed it?wow never seen/heard of them before!
Lol. When I first saw it I didn't see the head and I thought it was also some sort of parasitic worm. Last year my male box turtle had tapeworms and it was found in his cage. They found one of those in the sandbox of my son's nursery school - they were concerned it might crawl up a kids butt.
