The arcticle does remind me of a vid I saw a while ago:



I saw a mantis eat a mouse too (video), but i won't feed these animals to my mantis. brrr

I think the observations in the article go way beyond a captive mantis being offered a fish in a shallow dish.

Yeah, it shows some real intelligence in them, because they are not being shown or offered the food by a keeper, it is finding the fish and learning to hunt them by itself in the wild.
