At what stage can a mantis reproduce?

I have a male and female specimen of D. Lobata that was identified as "pre sub adult" in October but both have molted once since then. Here are images of them images

A mantis can only mate in adulthood... The male is or will be ready soon and it looks like the female needs one more molt.. You need to show a pic of the whole mantis including the abdomen not just the top half.. But I can see her abdomen curl with no wings so she Is still sub-adult

Really like the lighter lobatas, the sub adult females are my favorate stage. The last molt can be stressful though, good luck with your pair

She's not an adult yet.. Try feeding her a little more to hurry her up so they can mate before he dies
