My Grizzled Bark mantis ran up my arm and tried to disappear by squatting down flat. Nice try little guy!

I see he picked as hair free of a portion of your arm as he could get. My little mantises always snub my dad. They just touch their claws to his hairy man arms once and say, nope.

What a beautiful mantis! Though its profiles look pretty similar to a good old American cockroach. Looks like it probably runs about as fast too... Would make for an interesting hunt!

Yeah they definitely dart around just like a cockroach when startled.

Haha that's pretty funny. Kind of reminds me of my dog when she gets really playful and then drops down on the grass thinking that she's blending in. :lol:
