Cool species. Aggressive eaters!

In this video an L4 tries to eat its sibling's dinner...

Green L2 eats a house fly. 30 seconds in you can see the mandibles through the carapace!

Wow, very nice that they shared without eating anothers arm unintentionally?

I know this guy Henry that has some great video of them also, but your's is far better !!! ;)

I jumped right in and broke it up! I don't take chances with these little maniacs.

Wow! Seeing all the pics and video of your blue flash mantids makes me glad that I ordered some of these this morning!

They are a cool species. I'm glad I got some for free because I probably never would have bought any since I generally go for communal or odd body types. I really like them. They have a sweet, broad face. I'm surprised by the color variation and intensity too. My photos didn't catch the green in the eyes of the third one (this post). I'm looking forward to the adults.

I'll be posting some photos and video of molts soon. That's the best time to see the color splash on the raptors. :)
