Boxer Nymph (Hestiasula sp.) Videos

One of my two new L2/L3 boxer nymphs that came in the mail on Friday. (This one has a short antenna.) They are amazingly active and ferocious little hunters. They can jump really far especially for how tiny they are. Here is a video of one taking a wild leap off a deli cup.

Thanks. I'd forgotten just how small and cute an L2 mantis can be. I have been wanting boxer mantises for months now so I was ecstatic to find some for sale. So cool.

They are super adorable! And super active and alert. I love how it is moving its forearms around and antennae. Very interesting and cute species!
