1) Sometimes feedback is about a resale as in the case of quite a few transactions.
2) Sometimes the feedback is not being left when it should because a buyer feels that he/she might get better treatment from the seller in the future, if nothing is stated on the Forum about a bad transaction.
3) Some people are just nice and they do not believe is stating anything that might hurt someone else.
4) This point #4 is the crux of my posting this. It is nice to be kind to someone and not leave negative feedback when there is an honest mistake made. This does not pertain to deliberate attempts to defraud a buyer, knowing that there is little that can be done to get even in the end. Case in point. (hypothetical). Someone orders from a well known member from planet X and the deal is for 10 nymphs with a "live arrival guarantee". If there is nothing limiting the length of the delivery time in so as to negate the warranty after three days (for example), and the nymphs arrive with half dead and half alive, then at least is says that the sender knows how to pack nymphs for a long trip. If, on the other hand, none of them are living, one must wonder if they were living at the time of the packing. So one must draw conclusions. There are enough transactions going on that even someone who should have some negative feedback but does at times get high marks for good service. If this is done in favor of the more influential people, the positive feedback sometimes makes one want to take a chance. I personally do not believe that anyone wants to take such chances as to loose money almost automatically is a certain breeder is used. Sometimes the desire to obtain a rare species offsets the risk. One gets burned and the cycle goes on and on. If there is anyone that would like to add to my observations without calling out any one seller, please do so. There are some really good sellers out there and they are not all on the North American Continent. There are some in Asia, Europe, and perhaps some other areas. Just know that if you are trying a seller for the first time, use the feedback forum and see what others have experienced. If there is enough negative feedback against a given seller, probably you are heading into deep water without a paddle if you proceed.
