Back in May I started this random project of breeding monarch butterflies and it's been going extremely well. My garden is literally filled with monarch caterpillars now so I took a picture handling the largest of the bunch.

It was kinda difficult, but I even managed to get some shots of the actual butterflies taking short stops to lay eggs haha

Great picture of the butterfly :)
Thank you :) , that one was just a matter of luck. I was moving my cacti and noticed that the Monarch Butterflies were looking at the milkweed plant. I actually got to see them lay the eggs xD

I love those caterpillers! I raised those too when I was little.Thats what got me started with silkmoths and mantids.

Very nice. We tried to grow some milkweed last year for them but it never germinated for some reason.
