brown liquid?

I woke up and saw two droplets of brown liquid at the bottom of the housing. I currently have hydei fruit flies in their for feeding, but I'm sure it can't be the flies that made that stain...is my mantis sick? its the tenodera species if that helps with the diagnosis

That is quite common. Nobody is going to be able to tell you exactly what causes it. Usually it is vomit. Take a look at your food source and living conditions. Oftentimes it simply clears up on its own. I believe it may be that the mantis got some bad food. I usually just clean the caging well and withold food for a couple days. If it keeps up get rid of your feeders and get new ones from a different source.

Looks like runny poop to me. If red spots start to appear, or you witness red vomiting, then you might want to worry.
