I just purchased several adult B. borealis and they are very cool. I am wondering if you know how long they can be expected to live after laying their ooth and how long the ooth will take to hatch?

Thank you,

Ramona

They will lay a few to several ooths depending on care. Adult life span depends on a few factors, temps, food, hydration. I generally have them hatch between 2 to 3 month. And have had as long as 6 months after, and as short as month and a half.

They seem to have a pretty long lifespan in captivity. In my experience they lay a lot of ooths and they lay them frequently. Ooths always take a long time to hatch in my experience.
