Finally 2 ooths have hatched.

I now have 8 nymphs. I don't know how much came from which ooth :p

I Will keep this thread updated with pictures!

They are very small and eat d. hydei, though d. melanogaster would be better for their tiny arms. They only eat the d. hydei's head and drop the rest :p

 
Congrats on the ooths hatching, Giosan! :D Nice pics of the L1's... now I know what they will look like when my ooth hatches. ;) I've been patiently waiting, misting, and waiting... and it just sits there day after day. :rolleyes: The exciting thing is this kind is the "gift that keeps on giving!" (albeit slowly, lol) :p

 
Congrate Giosan, i bet it took a long while, but patient is virture :) more will hatch over a long period. just keep the ooth as long as possible and it will surprise you on how long some hatchling prefer to stay in the ootheca that long!
