This is almost irony.
I have a java shield male and female--the male molted easily, no problems, happily an adult now. My female had a mishap early on in which she lost two back legs. I nursed her carefully through two more molts until she got her legs back.
She was due for her molt to adult. Well, she did last night---but since it was at night while I was sleeping, I couldn't keep an eye on it. <_<
Apparently she fell during, because I found her crumpled on the ground this morning, raptor arms are intact and one leg, the rest are twisted and curled at all the wrong angles. I put some food in with her to see if she can even catch it. If not....
Just bummed that after nursing through the other molts and getting her legs back--this should happen. bah.
