Hi, I have a euctalptyus ( not bothering on how to spell it) tree forest in my backyard. Can I find some phasmids on that.... I am in Foothill area and I am confused on what the eat or where the are found
Trans-Am is a little bit correct. Eucalyptus is not from California and you won't find any native phasmids eating it. However, there are a number of native phasmids, mostly tiny Timema species. It's spelled "Eucalyptus". And don't expect to see wild phasmids in california since there aren't any native ones. There are some invasive indian stick insects however you most likely won't find them on that sort of tree.
