Can anyone can help me identify this species, or could point me to a care sheet, that would be greatly appreciated. Also, can anyone tell me whether this is a junior or an adult for this species?

Too small of a photo to attempt an ID for me, perhaps someone else that handles the species commonly will know. Was it captured in the wild or purchased? If captured what state/country are you in, as species widely vary? That will help with the ID as many can look similar in the juvenile instar stages which this appears to be.

I saw this at the Reptile Expo in White Plains last weekend, and am considering a purchase from the vendor.  I've asked the vendor to identify it, but she doesn't know.  Unfortunately I don't have a bigger or clearer photo.

This is definitely a Giant African Stick Mantis (Heterochaeta sp.), as I sell them myself. ;)

Sorry, I missed the rest of the questions. ;)  That is definitely a juvenile (although definitely beyond L3), as this species gets huge! Around 6 inches as an adult!

Here is a link to the caresheet found here:

Glad to see it was identified, enjoy your Heterochaeta. :D I do see why I didn't have a clue, as I've never kept that species yet, maybe someday. ;)
