So I was scrolling through some photos on this mantid forum and saw different species successfully mate. Didn't know that was a thing or if it even is. Would the ooth hatch? Just curious because I've never seen anything like that.

Most likely the ooth would not hatch. In the rare chance it does hatch the offspring will be weak and will die off. In the VERY rare chance a nymph or two make it to adulthood, they would be infertile and unable to reproduce. These are my thoughts, I'm sure someone has done more research on this topic.
