Yeah, mine took hydei at L1, but I'm not sure why you are asking this question when you are already raising twelve different species. How do you usually decide why food is good for your young nymphs?

i mainly keep large species which take d.hydei at L1. ive never seen a L1 ghost before so i wasn't sure.

so why didn't you just try it out. half the fun with raising mantids is learning from experience.

Phyllocrania could probably take on a house fly at L1 - this is a pretty strong mantis for its size.
