Can u over feed?

Just kinda wondering I have a young Asian giant mantis 2 shed and she always seems hungry one day she ate 4 flightless flys I moved up to feeding her hydeas flys because there about 2 times bigger then the last ones I was feeding but she just always seem to want more will she eat tell she pops? Like a gold fish or will she stop when full? Iv just started feeding every other day to be safe and 2-3 at a time any help would be appreciated thanks for your time

What instar are they? If their the size of a Nickle, fruit flies are to small and will need house flies. 3/4 house flies a day would be good.

Ok thanks it’s about the size of a quarter now I’d say, and I got it as a nymph and it’s 2molt now

If there is food running around stressing them out when they're not hungry or if you drop a really well-fed one on the cement, sure, but they're not going to pop otherwise.

Ok thanks this is my first mantis so it’s all kinda new to me and she just always seems hungry so just wanted to make sure I’m not gona hurt her, usually give her about 3/4 hyidea a day kinda thing sum times is skip a day if she’s lookin plump lol
