can you ID this?

Not a pic of Geeka but this is what he looks like. i would take a pic but my camera is messed up. I live in NC like maybe an hour from the east coast if that helps with trying to id.

If its large it is Tenodera sp. Hard to tell on my phone. We have two species in that genus. If it has orange between the front legs it is T.angustipennis. If it has yellow it is T sinensis.

It looks like a male Carolina to me, and she said that he was only 2.5 inches in another thread.

Shouldn't a male adult tenodera be much bigger than 2.5 inches?

Edit: I'm starting to agree that it might be tenodera. I googled some pictures, and it definitely has a tenodera thorax.

It has the signature green tenodera stripe on the side of the wings
