Briggs, one of my mantises, laid her egg over the weekend. I wanted to double check that the way I'm taking care of it works. . .

I removed it from the mesh cage Briggs laid it in and stuck it to the side of a paper cup with slightly warm glue, in the same position it was in in the mesh cage. I poked a few holes in the side of the cup for air circulation purposes, and I topped the cup with a tissue held on with an elastic band. I'm trying to handle humidity by regularly dampening the tissue. Is there anything wrong with this setup?

Which species... and more importantly, what type of glue did you use? I usually mount mine to the lid of a 32oz cup containing a little excelsior. I just use excelsior in the cup to help hold recommended humidity, depending on the species.
