My boss man caught a Chinese mantis tonight and brought it to me. She is a pretty green color and seems quite healthy and happy however I noticed something odd about her, while all other Chinese mantids that I have seen have brown wings with green margins this mantis has all green wings. Has anyone ever seen this before?

Yes of course. Just as many green ones as brown ones around here. Probably more. Green ones have green wings.

Or are you saying it is brown with all green wings?

All green:

I've never seen a green chinese mantis with brown wings and I have probably found millions of them. Often males will be brownish green so maybe that is what you mean.

Do you have any pix? Your green "Chinese" with brown or blotchy tegmina (front wings; you can't see the hind ones when the mantis is at rest) may be narrow winged mantids,

Tenodera angustipennis which I believe occur in parts of N.C. Take a look at this:

Possible, but they have the same color patterns. Look for an orange spot between the front legs to confirm if it is angustipennis. I have a small population of them near me. Chinese will have a yellow spot.
