Look at that cutie. I love how crazy pale and vibrant green Chinese mantises are just after molting.

Totally! The kids are loving being able to watch them do their thing! 

I must say, my favorite baby is the one on the window sill by the kitchen sink. It sits on the tiny plant and watches me do dishes. I will put it on my finger and hold it up to the tiny hole I made in the top of the melanogaster cup and after it takes one I put it pack on the perch. I wonder how long it will stay there... ?
