chinese ooth hlp plz

hi there concerning my chinese praying mantis ootheca, ive read the post ov care for the oothsand am pretty sure im doin it all correctly but... i c the twig that the ooth was attached to and what looks like a seam around it. this is to 1 side of the ooth, now do i hang this vertically from the showing stem so that the seam runns vertically ? this is how its hanging at the mo but its darkening now so i expect it to hatch soon & dont want to have too many losses or all due to my lack of understanding

If you can picture how it was in the wild on the stick, hang it that way. Momma mantis put it in optimal position (or one would hope anyway) .. hehe ...

The "seam" should be facing down, especially if your hanging it from the top of your container.
