Neat blog! On roachforum my avatar is of a species I photographed in Hawaii. I do catch Parcoblatta americana here in Oregon each summer. Last April I collected Arenivaga in AZ.

 
I found some different species of Parcoblatta recently in tall, dry, pine tree stumps.

Parcoblatta divisa. This one might be female.

I was told that these could be Parcoblatta pennsylvanica or possibly another type of Parcoblatta divisa.

I found them in places kind of like this. Not the same thing though, I found nothing in these stumps and they were maybe not rotten enough.
