cracks in my kindle

I very stupidly let my kindle fire fall while trying to carry other things at the same time. It hit the walkway on one corner. None of the cracks want to go accross the screen, just across the corner but I want to confine them if I can where they are.

Has anyone dealt with a cracked screen of some sort and how did you stabilize it? Crazy glue, clear packing tape? ( I used that on a cracked window and it held for years.)

Hmm... Some kind of screen protector? I'm not familiar with kindles, but the screen protector on a phone would probably help to stabilize the cracks. Also, you might want to consider buying a case.
