Thanks guys. The second photo was darkened tremendously in photoshop, I liked the way the mantis looks looking up into the light.

I'm really digging number one man, it needs to be printed BIG. Totally desktop background worthy.

The spotlight effect is real fun too, I might have a tinker.

I have been so busy taking photos that I haven't printed any of them, till now.

By the way I still make prints so if anyone is interested I can make prints of your photos for you, and I sell my photos as well!

See link for more info... Fine Art and Photo Printing

Ok here is a video of the print it is 15x10....

Nice.

Ten seconds into it, hearing your voice, I realized what I've REALLY been missing... Not the printout (necessarily), but a pronunciation guide to some of the bug names! Holy ######, do I get them wrong! Last time I talked to legitimate bug person, I felt like Michael Scott from the Office! I butchered every name but "Violin". Jeepers.

I got these Creo's from Steve (SSimsswiSS) and this particular Creo is a male and actually molted into and adult a few hours ago!

Yum and double yum.

I thought the lens hood was for a compact camera until the size clicked. That's a big ###### printer you got there.

I don't even want to think about ink and paper costs but damn it looks fine. I'd be scared of developing an itchy print button trigger finger.

Yeah, the printer will print 24" wide by however long you want really, it takes paper rolls and hundreds of types of media. There are 11 ink cartidges about the size of a VHS tape and range from $85 to $215 each depending on the ink volume you want. It's my baby!

The 1st photo is nice and sharp, but I do like the "feel" of the second photo best. :D

very nice gio, i like all the pics, congrats on that printer, i want one! i always wondered if it would be price effective. i will be contacting you for future printing needs! thanks Alice

Yikes Gio, I said I didn't want to think about the prices! Small prints seem pretty cheap to order online but i'm guessing this thing come into it's own with larger prints.

As soon as you said it takes rolls of paper I had a vision of Precarious' mega mantis composite/panorama across a wall. 24x100"

Thanks for the details, it's nice to dream
