Creo.Gem mating

Howdy,

I paired up my first set of mature Adults today. The male jumped aboard so I added a couple of flies to the enclosure to keep the female busy as she is ALWAYS hungry. I left them to it and about 45minutes later I see that they are not coupled anymore.

Is this a normal length of time or has the female chucked him off prematurely?

Mine always mated for 4 hours

I did assume that it was a short period, will feed up and re-pair later this week
