Hi there Guy's

I'm a bit new on this Forum, it's a great Forum i must add.

But i was researching here where i live and i came by some info on how to trap Cricket's.

1. You need 2 pieces of Multiplex wood 30cm by 30cm

2. 4 or 5 little stones

3. and water.

Just put the pieces of wood in your yard and in between the 2 pieces you put the 4 stones in every corner of the wood and then just poor water on the wood laying on the ground and then you'll need to put the other piece of wood on top of the stones and poor some water on it too.

Keep doing the process, every day and eventually you'll get a whole bucket full of crickets.

Thanks in advance

you mean like a pitfall trap? how would the crix be attracted to the trap? do you need bait?
No not like that, it's because of the moisture the crix would be attracted to it and will house them self's in between the 2 pieces of wood and you could get up in the late night and see if there are some in,but it would take some time to get them but it's worth it.
