Cross breeding mantids

I'm a newbie and I've always wondered if you could crossbreed mantids. Is it possible? Have any of you been successful? I hope this isn't a stupid question but I would just like to know.

I'm not sure honestly, but I've been trying to breed my Parasphendale agrionina with my Popa spurca. He grabs onto her like he would a mantid of his own species and he tried to mate with her but gave up when she flared her wings. I'll try again in the future and let you know what happens.
