Our damon medius has molted twice since we got her at a reptile show. She is in a 10 gallon aquarium with vertical cork slabs. I try to keep her humidity at around 70. Normally she spends her time hiding behind a piece of bark but lately she is up on the screen top of the cage a lot. She eats 2 week crickets. I have checked her cork to make sure there is no steatoda in her cage (once before she was hiding and i had to remove a steatoda...they get into all our reptile enclosures and i hate them). Now i am worried that something is wrong with our amblypygid because of her behavior change. Is it too humid!? Tank just too small? Looking for a mate? We love her dearly. Should we get her a larger vertical instead of horizontal tank? She has grown a lot. Last night she was upside down on the screen top peeking at me through the uncovered part of the screen top (tank has a towel over 3/4 of it). Does she need fresher cocoearth on the tank floor (it has springtails).? Thank you.
Also...am not sure she is a medius. She now is about six inches across witj her appendages extended!
