My brown mantis is turning green

i don't know what type she is; i found her weak and starving on the sidewalk. she laid her egg sac and now her head is turning green. This is my first time keeping a mantis. I was wondering if anyone knew why shes changing colors.

shes still really weak and im having trouble feeding her. Does anyone know what I should do?

Was it cold when you found her? She may just be old. Make sure to offer her water. If she is that weak she probably wont make it. sorry for the late reply.

yeah, it was cold. She died shortly this morning.

I had a green giant Asian that turned grey.

For anyone else reading this, you can hand feed a mantis on fishpaste or any kind of meat/fish. I successfully got my mangled mantis through another moult doing this. The hardest thing is pursuading them that its food.
