A monarch butterfly visited my milkweed, and now her daughter has hatched from her chrysalis.

Fantastic. Great pictures. Still working on getting my nephew to plant milkweed along 1/1 mile of fence. No one uses pesticides around here so great place for their needs. When I was a kid in the 50's-60's we used to watch for the best of many flying around for our pinnings. There were that many at a time to chose from.

Thanks. They really are fantastic creatures. You definitely should plant milkweed, just recently I found 5 more baby monarch caterpillars on the same plant!
