Dead Leaf Mantis Care

I realize this is probably a topic, but I couldn't find an existing thread. Can someone please give me a detailed care guide on dead leaf mantis and please include if a male or female would be better.

Mantid gender (male or female), has no bearing on their care as it is the same for either sex. If you are talking about trying to discover what the mantid gender is, then see this post for information.
