Hello All,
I am sorry for my long absence, but I think that this post title explains part of it. I went on vacation recently, as some of you knew, I followed the advice and individually packaged the crickets for the pet sitter. Unfortunately, this didn't even work. Patty was fed once and she wasn't doing very well at all. When I arrived home she was incredibly skinny and lethargic I have since then been trying to prop her back up. Things were looking up until today when I went to check on her and she was again lethargic and didn't move very well. I assumed that maybe she was going to molt, as it was about time again and left her be, later I returned to see she has died. I was half expecting this because of her deplorable condition when I returned home, but I was also feeling that I had nursed her back to health. As I had read on the forums, mantises are prone to sudden death and I think that this is what has happened. I am sorry that this has been so long, but I just wanted to report to a sympathetic community.
