My favorite mantis i have ever kept is still alive today, he is about 10/11 months old now. He was the only mantis i kept when i stopped breeding for about a year, because i simply couldn't give him up. I have always loved his head shap and personality so i decided to get some pics of him in his old, faded-ish age. He seems to be getting old and winding down, when the time comes i'll miss yah little buddy

First, as a little nymphy

It's kind of weird though, I've been in this hobby for a couple of years and this is the first time i have felt "attached" to a mantis. I have always cared for my mantises greatly and always gave them the best, but this one is different :p

Oh and none of these photos have been edited, so if you have skills in editing photos, would anyone mind fixing up 4 and 5? :D

He is really pretty. It is strange how one mantis can be so special from the others. I felt my R Stalli Sweeny was like that :) Glad you have had him for such a long time. Hopefully for a while more :)

Yeah, it's quite awesome.

Sadly two of his legs don't really work anymore, but he still eats and gets excited when i come in the room (He free roams my mantis room)
