I've seen ready made deli lids for sale that have a paper material for the vent instead of mesh. What is this paper like material and where can I buy it? Trying to cut and glue mesh tulle is a pain.

thanks

I usea those sock bootie feet things that painters and furniture movers wear on their shoes...I cut it to size and I'm pretty sure it is the same material...

Is it that tyvek material? I've read that tyvek although water proof, allows for gas exchange . some use it for lids when cultivating mushrooms but don't know if it breaths enough for an insect. I've vseen some free tyvek envelops at the post office I thought about trying.
