Alright, so I've recently purchased anew 10gal tank, converted it into a mantis tank, separated it into two 5gal sections for two T. Sinenses.

I've noticed today that one of the two has been threat displaying the other (smaller and handicapped) since I've gotten home from work. I'm hoping this isn't going to become much of an issue.

will this be something both myself and the two mantids are going to have to just get over or should I be looking forward to this kind of behavior often?

they've been in the tank for a little over a week, this is the first time I've seen it happen...

Can you make the glass in between the two not see through? that would most likely stop any issues.

Try glueing a piece of paper onto the divider. The mantis will continue to display. He may stop eventually, but keep things easy for the handycapped one.

Yeah I had thought about that myself... But then began to wonder if the glue would liquefy or if the paper would eventually begin to mold from moisture and misting.

I woke up today and they seem to be acting normal. I think it was from him being hungry... He did just molt the other day. Guess we'll see :|

Use a fish divider designed for fish it's basically plastic mesh that you use for fish that are arrgressive

Head down to Walmart in the auto section and buy a roll of 50% window tint which will stick to the devider and make it so neither can see through that's what I did when I had a similar set up.

Now that's a great idea!!

I've tinted cars for years and never even thought of using it in that manner,... Wow. Kudos sir.

unfortunately tripod passed away, my first Chinese has the 10g tank to herself.

thanks for the advice, I'll definitely keep that one in mind for future use.
