Drying

Question: if California (the place that I live) is on fire and having excessive heatwaves do I still have to wait 24 hours after a molt for Momo to be considered fully dry? Lol. I'd really like to feed them and put them in their new enclosure sooner today.

Yes. Always wait 24 hours, doesn’t matter if it’s hot or not. I’m in CA too, mantids still need time to dry.

Damn, I clicked onto this thinking it was a thread about drying dead mantids out ready for preservation in resin - morbid I know, but I've been looking into it today  hope you're all safe in California!
