What do you think? I wouldn't eat it, but hey, these people didn't seem to mind lol

I don't eat insects because I know where they have been...

I have eating mealworms and crickets, and a roach. Of course they had flavoring added so you weren't eating straight up bug, but they were quite good.

I sure don't think I could eat an insect :s Especially crickets, their legs.. Ew!

People will eat anything for the novelty of it. Especially if it makes them feel "extravagant". I wonder how much that meal cost? My brother told me somewhere around Los Angeles there was an "underground eatery" that served fetuses at an exorbitant price. That's right, HUMAN FETUSES! I guess it is an "acquired taste". Give me a burger and fries combo for $2.99 and I'm good to go.

Wow, no thanks on the crickets and roaches! I did stumble across a YouTube vid of someone frying up waxworms that actually looked kinda tasty.

Well in a lot of countries people eat insects (Largely in Africa, Southeast Asia and South America until recently). They have more protein than meat and are easy to come by so it's not really that absurd when you look at it that way.

That being said, I don't want to intentionally eat a bug. Although I have eaten roasted cricket. Thinking about it makes me want to vomit. Not because it was gross (actually tasted like sunflower seeds) but because I know how disguuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuusting crickets can be.

Citation needed on that more protein than meat claim.
