Hello!

This time last week, Chris Harrison (malaysian dead leaf) ate ten fruit flies. Since then, he's eaten none of the flies I've offered him. When should I get worried? Is this normal pre-molt behavior?

Sorry about all of the questions :) I just want to make sure I'm being a good mantis parent. Photo attached to show he's still a little guy.

Sounds like he's getting ready for a molt. Keep an eye on him but don't handle him until after the molt.

Fasting in nymphs is almost always a sign they are getting ready to molt. As long as they molt within a couple of days you know things are fine. Make sure to offer water daily while waiting as many will drink despite there lack of appetite for food.
