Egg bound?

I think my mantis might be egg bound. She is almost 2 months into maturity and hasn’t laid yet. She is fat and hasn’t eaten in 5 days. She has been calling a lot lately, so I’m hoping she’s about to lay. I have a couple questions:

1. From what I explained, do you think my mantis might be eggbound?

2. What causes this excactly?

3. How long are they plump prior to laying?

4. at what age in maturity do they normally lay?

What species? 2 months is nothing to worry about. I doubt she's eggbound this early.

My bad. I didn't have much time and I guess that passed by my mind. It's a female Chinese mantis. Just a tad under 2 months into maturity. My main worry is that she has been plump for 5-7 days with no feeding. I just got some roaches for her too, but i'm worried she will get too fat and get hurt from it.

They stop eating when going to lay their ooths. Give her time.
