Got 4 of these, did have 8, lost half of them from mismoults and just dropping dead. Feeding on firebrats and kept under a heat lamp.

About a cm and a half i think, and yes they moult on the ground, which makes the fact that i had a couple mismoult even more infuriating.

One of the males isnt doing well, not eating or righting itself when it falls over, no idea why.

This one female seems to be doing ok, aside from trying to eat me at every given opportunity, they have surprisingly powerful jaws.

Got 3 of these left, 2 females and a male i think, although i'll doubt they'll breed. Lost 5 of them in the few couple of weeks through mismoulting, even though they are supposed to moult on the ground which is a joke. Think they were warm enough, upgraded the heat lamp and dont think they did it after that. Easily one of my favorite mantids though, very unusual
